We understand that nutritious food is fundamental to good health. Good nutrition can help to reduce risk of chronic disease and illness, improve energy levels and overall health and wellbeing.
We're Accrediting Practising Dietitians (APDs) who are passionate about food and delivering contemporary health coaching strategies to assist you in setting achievable health goals. Our team of Accredited Practising Dietitians have extensive experience providing professional, user-friendly and personalised dietary advice to people from all walks of life.
What is an Accredited Practising Dietitian?
Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs) are tertiary qualified professionals accredited by the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA). APDs are trained to translate scientific information about nutrition into practical advice about what to eat. APD is a protected trademark and the only national quality standard for nutrition and dietetics services recognised by the Australian Government, Medicare, the Department of Veterans Affairs and private health funds.

How do I get started?
Find below the ways to access our Dietetic services:
Option 1: Private / Self-referral
You do not need a referral from your GP to see us.
Patients can self-refer to see our Dietitians at any time.
Option 2: Referral by General Practitioner / Medical Specialist
We accept and bulk-bill those referred with GP Management Plans (GPMP) and Team Care Arrangements (TCAs).
The Australian government provides Australians suffering from a chronic disease with up to 5 visits to Allied Health practitioners each calendar year. At Synergy Health Centre, we provide all medicare referrals with bulk-billed consultations to ensure that you get the most out of your referral.
Speak to your GP to see if you qualify for the government’s Enhanced Primary Care plan sessions (EPC).
